Hi,

If you have landed on this page then I am assuming you are definitely looking for the “best fully accredited and recognized TESOL TEFL certificate” and dream job provider for whatever personal reasons you may have.

Teaching English in Cambodia

ASEAN Primary School Phnom Penh

Well, you have found it and it is no accident, as ATI Cambodia is a highly exclusive Collegii and extremely difficult to track down, (except by those in the know).

Let’s be up-front about exactly what is on offer shall we?

First, our contacts encompass Prime Ministers & Governments, Royalty, Embassies, Multinational Corporations, Private Companies, High Net-Worth Individuals, Exclusive Clients, Universities, Colleges, Schools, Distinguished Professors, NGO’s and Volunteer Organizations around the world.

Second, the education and opportunities offered to hand-picked students comes from over thirty years of experience in business from the field and poverty to the corporate board-room and wealth, especially applied to the practicalities of teaching English.

Third, the certification you will receive is valid around the world in every country by all the aforementioned contacts and more.

Fourth, the service given is unavailable elsewhere and matched by no-one. It’s exclusive, confidential, personal and perfect for anyone wishing to experience real customer satisfaction.

Fifth, If you can’t decide between TESOL or TEFL you get them both here at the same time, easier for you.

Sixth, emphasis is heavily placed on ‘having a good time’ while working and studying hard, so the students enjoy themselves tremendously. You have one life – so live it!

Here, allow me to point out that there are always only a maximum of 5-6 acolytes earning their certificates  at any one time, so places are hard-won and based on who you are and your level of commitment above all else.

If you do, by some remote possibility, discover a better course in this world, please let us know so your helpful  and valuable suggestions can be quickly taken up and incorporated to the benefit of everyone.

In the meantime, if you are genuinely interested in coming to Cambodia and working with us, receiving your TESOL TEFL and other certificates (up to and including Post-Grad Certificates, Diplomas and MBA’s should you want that); plus obtaining your dream job, and having a really amazing time in the ‘Kingdom of Wonder’, then leave a comment with contact details and I will respond.

Alternatively, just pick up the phone and speak to me first-hand with your inquiry, you will find me both helpful and informative.

Life in Cambodia is easy, with a laid back but efficient professional approach. Put aside all your day-to-day worries and leave them behind you. Here there is no junk mail and the grind of everyday existence, as in more developed nations. Your every comfort has been thought of. The way here is to ensure everything is easy for you, so that you feel right at home, comfortable and secure that everything will be handled smoothly for you.

This may seem strange for westerners who get deluged with unwanted paperwork and burdensome bureaucracy. The endless bills and demands on your time and your wallet or purse. It’s a merry-go-round which many people long to escape so here in the “Kingdom of Wonder” those things have been reduced to a triviality, so you can get on with the REAL things in life, like enjoying yourself, being free and having a great life-style.

  • Visa’s – Easy !!! (Obtain a one month ‘Business Visa’ on arrival $28 – unlimited renewals), next day hassle-free visa extension service – just ask. Remember to bring 2 passport-sized photographs with you for your visa application when you arrive at the airport.
  • ATM’s – Everywhere – Canadia Bank offers FREE withdrawals too.
  • Exchange Rate – See www.xe.com for current rate
  • Changing Money – Excellent, no-rip professional changing in the street (look for the Dollar to Riel rate signs) or in most banks.
  • Transport – A complete doddle. Get driven everywhere by Tuk-Tuk, Motodop, Buses, Coaches. Extremely cheap and no hard work involved.
  • Food – Whatever you want at a price you can afford.
  • Drink – No problem (Beer 50cents or less, rice wine 75c a litre- dynamite).
  • Shopping – Everything you need. Bargains and Bartering – name your Price.

Footnote: Security & Safety
Everyone here, from our superb local police chief and his friendly helpful officers, ourselves, all our guides and drivers, the local Khmer people and every one of our contacts respectfully aim to guarantee your personal safety and immediate assistance in every situation at all times of day or night. The “Kingdom of Wonder” does everything it can to ensure you have a trouble-free, hassle-free life. As in every place world-wide there are places it is wise not to go alone at night and your drivers will urge you and caution you not to go there. If you foolishly choose to go alone, especially at night to remote spots this is the only time ATI Cambodia cannot help you. You may agree  that this advice holds true in every place in the world.

If you have any specific questions about any practical issues that have not covered then contact us and you will be answered promptly. Alternatively just phone and find out anything you wish.

Why teach English?

November 25, 2011 in American TESOL Institute, American TESOL Institute Cambodia, Cambodia, Certificate, Education, English, Jobs, Teacher, Teaching English, Teaching English Cambodia, TEFL, TEFL Cambodia, TEFL Certificate, TEFL Class Cambodia, TEFL School Cambodia, TEFL TESOL Cambodia, Tesol, TESOL Cambodia, TESOL certificate, TESOL Class Cambodia, TESOL School Cambodia, Training, Work

Why teach English?

For anyone who can speak English it’s easy to learn how to teach English, even by people with little or no previous experience. And teaching in Cambodia is both rewarding and lucrative. TEFL and TESOL certificates are instantly recognized as the simplest way into this life-style. You can obtain both with me (and other certificates it’s not possible to obtain anywhere else).

In short, if you can speak English you can teach it !!

Learn how! PLUS get your dream job using ATI Cambodia.

Before you have even completed your ATI training, you will already have experienced teaching willing, eager students and have understood the love and respect given to you by the Khmer people, both children and adults. The Khmer people are keen to learn, and travel many miles just for the opportunity to learn English with a ‘foreigner’ (affectionately known as ‘Barang’)  and address him or her as as ‘Teacher’ as a token of respect.

Also, a host of top tools, tips and techniques, on top of your training will be handed to you so you end up being fully equipped for a great career and marvelous lifestyle. Nothing is left out or left to chance.

Salary-wise, even working only 20 hours or less a week will ensure you get along without any difficulties whatsoever and begin to taste a life you previously only dreamed of. Foreigners in general and foreign (English Speaking) teachers are paid vastly more than their local Khmer counterparts. This is in recognition of your invaluable assistance and much needed skill.

For example a local Khmer teacher will earn $45 – $70 a month. Yes! You read that right! You on the other hand can earn a thousand dollars a month, or more if you want. Your pay scales vary from $8p.h to $25p.h and you can choose to work as many or as few hours as you wish to fund whatever life-style you desire. Don’t worry, even Khmer teachers have a great life and have fun with their salary and do not envy you in the least. They want you to be happy above everything else and recognize your contribution to Cambodian society.

  • Teaching English is Easy
  • Teaching English is Well-Paid
  • Teaching English is Respected
  • Teaching English is in Demand
  • Learning how to Teach English is easy with ATI Cambodia

Jobs themselves are pretty easy to find. Personally, when I first entered Cambodia, I had only a TESOL/TEFL plus a few hours practice teaching under my belt. I was nervous, but not for long! The Khmer people helped me and showed me what to do. I visited 20 universities, colleges and schools with my C.V. Within a couple of days I was working at 2 schools and within a month every single place I had visited got back to me!!! Two of the places did politely decline, but kept me on file, but 18 DID!!!.

That’s a 90% success rate for a C.V and 18 jobs out of 20. Not bad for a normal guy who had never done it before. And ATI’s dual TESOL/TEFL and additional certificates will give YOU the chance I got and more, much more.

Forget the recession. Come and enjoy a stress-free life. It’s the single best decision anyone can make. I promise you will never look back.

Why not join me as soon as you can? I stress I ‘am’ limited to a small and exclusive circle, quite simply due to the level of service offered, but you could be one of the lucky few. Just simply leave an inquiry, or phone me – easy!

Accommodation in Cambodia

What accommodation options are there?

The first questions people tend to ask about Cambodia is “Where do I stay?” and “How much is it?”

First off, do not expect miracles, this is a developing nation after all!! However, saying that, adventure and excitement is on the cards.

Selected students can stay with Mr Aspinall and his family (free) until they find their feet if they wish. Especially on the first day here, when undoubtedly the long journey has tired you out and you have no desire to go through the hassle of checking in.

Alternatively, if his house is full, accommodation in Cambodia can start at about 12USD per night for a guesthouse room, right up to luxury hotels catering for the ‘well-to-do’ tourist. It really depends what your budget is.

You are welcome to leave any questions below with some contact details. We will reply with our private email address then we can work together on some budget details and what type of accommodation you are looking for, so the best deal can be arranged for you!

Whatever is easier for YOU!
